The bar brawl at a New York nightclub that in one way or another involved Chris Brown and Drake continues to be be under investigation, though both artists are saying they had nothing to do with the violent incident that left many bloodied and injured. Now Philly rapper Meek Mill, who was also present during the late night fight, has come forward to back up their claims that they did not instigate the bottle-throwing brawl.

“Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take shit to the next level,” Meek told XXL. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of shit. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.”

Though it was reported that Mill had allegedly thrown a bottle during the fight, Mill refuted that claim with a simple, “Fuck no.”

Though Brown and Meek Mill had engaged in a Twitter feud over Rihanna the month before, they two artists have no beef with one another. “I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, ‘There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third,'” explains Mill.

However, TMZ‘s report of how it went down claims that there’s some sort of feud between Mill and a member of Brown’s entourage. The man, who was hanging in Brown’s section of the nightclub, is reported as shouting over to the rapper, “We’re gonna kill you” and “Somebody’s gonna die.”

The W.i.P. nightclub, where the incident took place, was shut down over the weekend due to code violations. At least five bystanders suffered cuts during the fight, Brown received a nasty gash in his chin, and his bodyguard suffered a serious cut to the head. No arrests have been made yet.
